A UFO sighting

From the The Argus, first published Thursday 22nd Mar 2007.

I was interested to read the article on the UFO sighting (The Argus, March 14) as I saw it myself.

It was around 7.30pm in the evening. I opened my back door to let the cat in when I saw what I thought may have been a UFO.

I was facing west and saw this bright orange object in the direction of Shoreham. It appeared to be hovering.

Then, after several minutes, it began to move very slowly towards Mile Oak. It then started hovering again.

It was soundless and definitely not a plane, as they have red and green flashing lights and this had neither. It was also was far brighter than a plane and sat much lower in the sky.

I came back indoors and when I went out side again, I was amazed to see another one, which was also hovering. This one seemed to be slightly closer.

The next time I went out, they had both vanished. I would be interested to know if anyone managed to photograph it.
