Misleading map

I feel I must repond to the crime figures, particularly the map of crime across Sussex, recently printed in your newspaper (The Argus, March 10).

Printing raw data in such a way is very misleading to anyone who does not have the time or the inclination to consider what it means.

For example, central Uckfield is shown as red but has all of the shops and car parks where theft and car crime will occur.

Population data is also needed for comparison.
