Animal rescuers have been left puzzled as to how a swan became stuck in a tree.
Volunteers from East Sussex Wildlife Rescue and Ambulance Service were called to the stricken bird near Upper Dicker, Hailsham.
WRAS founder Trevor Weeks said he had never come across anything as unusual in 22 years of animal rescuing.
