There's an all-star Albion benefit, Tom McCrae's acoustic atmospherics, Watford's raging Mohair and rapper Aim to choose from.
Those
noisy Brighton boys, Eighties Matchbox B-Line Disaster, headline a
benefit gig for the Forty Notes Fund - a fund-raising scheme for
Brighton and Hove Albion. Helping them out are Phats and Small and DJs
Midfield General and host Stephen North, better known as an actor from
London's Burning and the film Fever Pitch. Starts 7.30pm, £12. Call

This is a singer/songwriter with a rare poetic eloquence,
boasting a clutch of great tunes, an impassioned voice and instrumental
skills. McCrae has finally released a second album, Just Like Blood,
following the success of his debut and is back on the road to play it

Basic rock from a Watford four-piece who excel in raging guitar,
harmonies and the sound of the Hammond organ. Naming themselves after
The Beatles' mohair suits, the boys have all been playing in bands

Hip-Hop rarely strays beyond the streets but Cumbrian producer Andy
Turner, aka Aim, manages to take the most urban of musical forms on a
trip to more remote climes. He brings us smooth layers, beats and
busting bass, with instrumentals and rapping tracks which hold the
